Cadbury’s World in Bourneville has two of Ticknall Solar’s Solar Powered Belisha Beacons situated on the Pedestrian Crossing on the main entrance to the car park of the popular Midlands attraction. The first beacons were supplied to the Cadbury site a few years ago.
Earlier this year we received a call from Johnson Controls who are contracted to do all of the site maintenance asking if we could upgrade their existing beacons to the latest model. After doing a site survey it became very apparent that this particular site would require our TS2509 additional solar panel kit due to the amount of large and dense trees around that would block the sunlight from getting to the solar panel.
The TS2506A Solar Powered Belisha Beacons along with the TS2509 additional Solar Panel kits are now up and running at the site.
